How can I find a local organization who may be able to take care of my disabled brother in Los Angeles?

My brother is severely disabled, he cannot take care of himself at all. He cannot communicate or walk. He’s turning 29 and currently being taken care of in a San Bruno local organization. We recently moved to Los Angeles and we would like to move him to Los Angeles so we can visit him over the weekends. I don’t know where to find help. I appreciate it if you can offer some information what I can do. Thanks a million!

I have a friend from Ghana who would like to come to visit me in the Los Angeles/Ventura area of Southern California and I am interested in locating a place here where she can experience a little bit of ‘home’ while she’s visiting should she become ‘Homesick’. I live in the Ventura area, so anywhere from San Luis Obispo to Long Beach is good. She is Ashanti and speaks that dialect of Twi, if that makes any difference. Thanks for your help.
