Where can I buy rhubarb in Los Angeles?
Filed Under Other - Food Drink | Comments Off
I am supposed to make a rhubarb pie for Thanksgiving tomorrow. My mom went grocery shopping locally but couldn’t find rhubarb anywhere.
I am in Los Angeles until tomorrow night and was wondering if anyone knows of a place (preferably near UCLA) that has it in stock right now either fresh, frozen, or canned.

Anyone have Helio in Los Angeles, please let me know what you think about Helio and its coverage. They say it uses Sprint and Verizon networks, so it must be good right? If so, how come i don’t see that many people have Helio? Thanxs.

How is it living in Hawaii, when coming from city life, in my case Los Angeles?
Filed Under Honolulu | 3 Comments
I am Filipino and Portugese. I grew up a city boy from Los Angeles, NYC, to Washington D.C. And everytime I go to Hawaii for vacation, it feels like home. So I have been wondering what the lifestyle is like out there, to live that is, speficially in the countryside (waimanalo, haleiwa, etc)? Because I am really thinking about relocating.

What are some good adventure spots near the Los Angeles area? (Tunnels, abandoned buildings and the like)?
Filed Under Los Angeles | 3 Comments
I live in the Los Angeles area and I am looking for interesting areas to explore. Any wooded areas that are neat, any tunnel systems, large abandoned buildings, weird places. Pretty much any suggestion that is adventurous and relatively deserted would be appreciated.
If you know anything that is a reasonable drive from Los Angeles (if it’s good enough and somewhere in Southern California I’ll at least consider it) then please post!
Thanks!

Possible to get low rent in Los Angeles area and NOT be in a bad neighborhood?
Filed Under Los Angeles | 10 Comments
I’m just wondering because I am in my fourth year of film school, and considering moving there after I graduate.
I know that some neighborhoods are better and some are worse, but I am wondering - Is it possible to get below $700/month anywhere in the Los Angeles area without being in a cess-pool?
